Mushing Background:
When did you begin mushing?
My father raised and raced sled-dogs. I began mushing
as a child.
Describe your mushing experience:
Local Kusko village races and coached students to run
the Bogus Creek 150 (Kusko 300) and the Junior Iditarod. General Information:

why you have signed up for the 2008 All Alaska Sweepstakes:
Tuluksak School is the only school in the country that
has a dog-sled team as part of our school curriculum.
Our principal wanted our school team to run the All Alaska
Sweepstakes to honor Pete MacManus
who was a school teacher and musher. We were hoping to
get a student to run the team, but that didn't work out
due to state testing which begins on April 1st. Instead,
she asked me to run the team with the support of three
Tuluksak students (Crim, Leroy, and Nicholai), my brother
Jacob, the principal Mariah, her husband Craig, and her
son Zack.
Our dogs are from Martin
Buser's Happy Trails Kennel: leaders Iris, Angus, Lewis,
and Jack; team dogs Eva, Liberty, Bug, Io, Siv, Callisto,
Clark, and Harlem.
